Tekken 3 (1997)

Developed by Namco for the Namco System 12, Tekken 3 was a 3D fighting game that added the ability to sidestep, i.e. avoid attacks by moving to the back of the screen.

Tekken 3 was released by Namco in 1997 and ran on Namco System 12 hardware. The system used a Hitachi SH-2 processor at 28.6 MHz. The screen resolution was 640x480 pixels with a palette of 16.7 million colors. Sound was produced by Namco's C352 custom sound chip.
