Gaelco's Rolling Extreme, developed in C++ and focused on inline skating, allowing players to perform tricks and compete in urban areas.
Gaelco's Rolling Extreme was released in 1999 and ran on Gaelco 3D hardware. The system used a Motorola 68EC020 processor at 16 MHz and ADSP-2115 for sound processing. The screen resolution was 512x384 pixels with a 16.7 million-color palette. For the sound, it used a Yamaha YMZ280B for FM synthesis and sample playback.
